ReadySetRent — Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use readysetrent.co.uk. ReadySetRent is operated from England and is currently in early access, which means features may change and the service is provided free of charge while we develop it.

You must be 18 or over and be renting, or looking to rent, in England — or be a letting agent acting in a professional capacity. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure.

You agree to provide accurate, honest information in your profile. Letting agents rely on what you enter, and deliberately misleading information may result in your account being removed.

ReadySetRent does not perform identity verification, credit checks or referencing. We do not score, rank or assess renters, and we do not guarantee that any letting agent will accept or act on your profile. The Rental Pack checklist is general guidance only and is not legal advice — requirements vary between agents, landlords and referencing providers.

You control who sees your profile. Anyone with your share link can view the information you have chosen to make shareable, so only send it to people you trust. You can revoke a share link at any time from your account.

Agents may only use applicant information for the purpose of assessing a tenancy application, must keep it confidential, and must comply with UK data protection law. Misuse of applicant data will result in the account being closed.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other people's data, scrape the platform or use it for anything unlawful.

Documents uploaded to your ReadySetRent document vault are automatically and permanently deleted 90 days after upload. You will receive an email reminder 14 days before deletion. ReadySetRent accepts no liability for documents deleted in accordance with this policy. You are responsible for retaining your own copies of all uploaded documents.

ReadySetRent is a profile preparation and sharing tool only. We do not verify, authenticate, or guarantee the accuracy of any information or documents submitted by users. We accept no liability for rental application outcomes, letting agent decisions, referencing results, tenancy offers, or any losses arising from use of this platform. Use of ReadySetRent does not guarantee a successful tenancy application.

The service is provided "as is" during early access and may be unavailable from time to time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of ReadySetRent, including any tenancy you do or do not secure.

You can delete your account at any time; your personal data is removed in line with our Data Protection Policy. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

We may update these terms as the product develops and will notify registered users of significant changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: adminreadysetrent@gmail.com.
